Apply: Starting from the top of the wall, apply the pre-measured mesh. Embed: Using a steel trowel, press the fibreglass mesh into the wet render mix. Work from the centre outwards to the sides. This forces the render through the mesh holes for a secure bond. Smooth: Ensure the mesh is fully embedded just below the surface of the render, with no wrinkles or trapped air bubbles. Overlap: Always overlap adjacent drops of mesh by 100mm and trowel them together. Do not embed the leading edge until the next layer is positioned.
